Shasta and Luis eloped on Treasure Island. I loved having the honor of capturing their elopement. It was just the two of them and it was so moving to be a part of. They had so many personal and unique touches to their day and I just love that!
They started with a first look for their elopement day and Luis was brought to tears when he first saw Shasta. It was such a touching moment. Next, they did a tequila shot together, how fun! Then they read each other their personal vows that they had written each other. You could truly see the laughter, hope and the love they shared during the vows.
We then moved to their wedding ceremony on the beach, which was also beautiful. Shasta and Luis ended up getting married on an unseasonably very cold, windy, and rainy day. But you would never know because they didn’t let it affect their moods at all. These two were fully present, in the moment and full of joy while pledging their life and love to each other. They had their first dance on the beach along with Bride & Groom portraits before we headed back to their hotel for cake and champagne.
Shasta and Luis, thank you so much for allowing me the huge honor of documenting this incredibly special day in your life as your elopement photographer! I hope these photos forever transport you back to how you felt on your wedding day, and you Treasure (Island) them for years to come. Congrats Mr. & Mrs. Torres!
Oh, and if you’re hoping to plan your own Florida beach elopement, I would love to chat with you. Plus, I have a full list of amazing vendors that can bring your vision to life!
