I first met Julie as a new coworker in 2013. Little did I know what a huge part of my life she would become! We worked together (and by together I mean sharing a cubicle wall, coffee, lunch, IM-ig throughout out our entire work day, workouts, venting sessions, sharing dinner recipes, texting before and after work), basically we were in constant contact as much as two people can be. So when our era of working together ended, it was a very hard transition. But when your bond is that strong, it luckily doesn’t just go away! We’ve seen each other through many phases of adult life (some happy milestones and some days that were full of tears), and now another happy milestone is upon us — Julie and Blake are expecting a new addition to their family in 2020! I was beyond honored when Julie asked me to capture this huge milestone for their family by shooting a Maternity Session at Missouri Botanical Garden.

We had so much fun during this session. I even captured sweet Nora jumping for joy! You can see that glow and feel all that love and happiness! I love that I was able to get shots of Blake and Julie alone together and the 3 of them together before they become a family of 4!
