I recently got the pleasure of meeting Katie & Caesar for their Maternity Session at Oak Knoll Park. We had originally planned on doing this session at the Missouri Botanical Garden, but since it wasn’t open, we had to improvise. We landed at Oak Knoll Park on another gorgeous night, with another gorgeous sunset and wow, was it beautiful! Just look at the colors, so dreamy! I’m obsessed with this glow.

I’ve gotten so lucky in having the sweetest couple’s sessions! Katie and Caesar had each other (and me!) laughing throughout the entire session. Couple’s with a sense of humor make for the best sessions! These two were so sweet and natural together that I couldn’t put my camera down for a second because I might miss something cute they were doing! They were radiating happiness and love. By the time I left their session, my cheeks hurt and I couldn’t stop smiling, which everyone knows that’s my favorite! I truly had so much fun.

These two have so much going on between work, a move, and welcoming a new baby! I love the fact that they still took time out of their busy schedule to capture this special time! You’ll never regret taking a moment to soak it all in and document important life milestones. Maternity sessions in particular, are so important because it really is such a short time in your life before everything changes.
