From Tennessee to Lake Louisa State Park

Julie and Blain traveled all the way from Tennessee to elope in Florida! It is such a huge honor when my clients travel so far and choose me to capture their day. Not only did they come dressed to the nines, but they also wanted to dedicate lots of time to the photos, literally my dream! We had so much time to capture their lake elopement, which makes the photography experience relaxing, fun and creative.

Fate took charge: from dinner to a Lake Louisa State Park wedding

Julie and Blain met through mutual friends when neither of them was looking for a relationship. But after they went to dinner one night the chemistry was undeniable. They have been together since, and fate brought us all together for their Lake Louisa State Park wedding.

The First Look

We started with a first look that was so sweet, and of course Blain was blown away by how Julie looked absolutely gorgeous. Her dress was stunning, hair and makeup by Angelica Chrysler Beauty was so pretty, and the perfect compliment to all of that was her dried floral bridal bouquet by Fern and Sunpalm. I’m obsessed with how it all came together! I always recommend a first look for my clients because it adds such an extra special layer to the moment.

Their First Dance

These two were so laid back which, in my book, equals so much more fun. They were so full of joy and love and my favorites shots of their day are the ones that capture that! We had a soundtrack of their favorite music during their session and they got to have their first dance as husband and wife in the middle of a field! How dreamy! This was an epic day for a lake elopement.
