When Jeanne contacted me for a family session I was completely honored and excited! I had never met Jeanne and her family, but she and Eric are the aunt and uncle to one of my best friends! And Eric is from my hometown! It was so special to be able to shoot this Fall Family Session at Forest Park!

We met close to the Jewel Box in Forest Park and Jeanne shared with me that is a special spot to their family, which I absolutely love! The Martin Family has a tradition of a picnic every year for Mother’s Day in this spot of Forest Park! Shooting in a spot that is sentimental to the family makes me feel even more inspired during a session! I love that they will not only be able to look back on these photos and remember this time, but that these photos will also spark those memories of their Mother’s Day picnics!

Eric & Jeanne are also celebrating their 20th anniversary this year! I love that they make the effort to capture their family to celebrate this special milestone! I was so happy we got to get shots of just the two of them during this session as well.

Daniel, Julia, and Lily were also so much fun during our session! They were lively with all kinds of moments that were candid and full of laughter.
